Care at Metabolic Center of Oklahoma is delivered through a structured, provider-guided process that emphasizes evaluation, monitoring, and measurable clinical outcomes. This includes initial assessment, treatment planning, ongoing oversight, and follow-up adjustments based on clinical response.

This approach is designed to maintain consistency, support informed decision-making, and ensure that care remains aligned with objective results over time. Patients are expected to participate in recommended follow-up, complete required lab testing, and maintain communication with the clinic to support this process.

Appointments & Scheduling

Scheduling Your Visit

Appointments may be scheduled online or by contacting the office directly. Instructions related to preparation, required documentation, or lab work will be provided in advance when applicable.

Arrival Time

New patients should arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to complete intake and initial documentation.

Established patients should arrive 10–15 minutes prior to their appointment time.

Late Arrivals

Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule to allow adequate time for evaluation and care.


Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Missed Appointments

Missed appointments without prior notice are subject to a missed visit fee and may limit future scheduling availability.


Billing, Insurance & Payment

Insurance Verification

Insurance coverage varies by plan and service. Verification may be completed prior to your visit; however, coverage details should be confirmed in advance.

Financial Responsibility

Co-pays, deductibles, and non-covered services are due at the time of the visit unless prior arrangements have been made.

Program-Based Care

Many services provided, including metabolic optimization, medical weight loss, and performance-focused care, are structured as self-pay programs and may not be billed through insurance.

Accepted Payment Methods

Major credit and debit cards are accepted. Please contact the office with any billing-related questions.


Program Participation & Follow-Up Requirements

Care plans are structured and may include medication management, nutrition guidance, lab monitoring, and scheduled follow-up visits.

Ongoing participation is required to support safe monitoring and appropriate treatment adjustments. Delays in follow-up or incomplete adherence may delay treatment adjustments or continuation of certain therapies.


Medication Management & Prescription Requests

Prescription refill requests must be submitted during regular business hours. Certain medications require follow-up evaluation, lab review, or ongoing monitoring prior to renewal.

All medications are prescribed based on clinical assessment and medical necessity. Refills are issued only following appropriate clinical evaluation.


Laboratory Testing & Clinical Monitoring

Lab testing may be required before initiating or continuing treatment. Laboratory work must be completed within the recommended timeframe to allow for appropriate clinical decisions.

Delays in lab completion may delay treatment decisions, adjustments, or prescription renewals.


Communication & Patient Portal Use

Secure Communication

The patient portal may be used for routine communication, follow-up questions, and administrative requests. This supports secure, documented, and clinically appropriate communication.

Medical Emergencies

Metabolic Center of Oklahoma clinic does not manage urgent or emergency conditions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate emergency care.


Patient Privacy & HIPAA Compliance

Patient information is handled in accordance with applicable healthcare privacy regulations, including HIPAA. Access to medical records is limited to authorized personnel and used solely for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations.

A Notice of Privacy Practices is available upon request.

All care decisions are based on clinical evaluation, objective data, and patient-specific factors. Treatment plans are adjusted over time in response to measurable outcomes, ensuring that care remains appropriate and medically guided.
