Primary Care

Accessible Primary Care

Primary Care

We understand how difficult it can be to find a reliable primary care provider. Long wait times, limited availability, and rushed appointments can make it frustrating to get the care you need.

At Metabolic Center of Oklahoma, our goal is to change that.

We offer accessible, patient-centered primary care focused on prevention, early detection, and long-term health — without the barriers that often come with traditional healthcare settings.

Primary Care, Accessible Primary Care

What We Provide

We provide a wide range of primary care services for adults, designed to support your health at every stage:

  • Acute illness visits (cold, flu, infections, etc.)
  • Chronic disease management (hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol)
  • Preventative screenings and well-woman visits
  • Medication management and refills
  • Weight management support
  • Hormone and metabolic health integration

A Better Experience

Your health is interconnected. That’s why our primary care services are fully integrated with our expertise in metabolic health, weight management, and hormone optimization.

This allows us to look beyond symptoms and address the root causes of many common health concerns - helping patients feel better, not simply manage conditions.

Integrated Health

We believe primary care should be simple, accessible, and focused on you. Our approach emphasizes:

  • Timely access to care - appointments when you need them, either in-clinic or through telehealth
  • Clear communication - no confusion and no rushed visits
  • Continuity of care - building a long-term relationship with your provider
  • Ongoing follow-up - access to health information and nursing support through our patient portal

Who We Serve

Our primary care services may be a good fit for individuals who:

  • Are struggling to find a primary care provider
  • Want more personalized and attentive care
  • Prefer a proactive approach to health and prevention
  • Need ongoing support for chronic conditions
  • Are looking for a provider who understands how metabolic and hormone health relate to overall wellness

Pricing & Insurance

We are currently in-network with most major insurance providers, and primary care visits are typically covered according to your individual plan benefits.

Patients should still expect applicable co-pays or co-insurance costs based on insurance guidelines.

For those without insurance coverage - or for patients who prefer a self-pay option - current pricing is listed below.

Self-Pay Pricing

  • Initial Nurse Practitioner Visit — $135
  • Follow-Up Nurse Practitioner Visit — $85

Lab work pricing may vary depending on the number and type of tests ordered. Patients interested in self-pay lab options can discuss available pricing resources with their provider.

Primary Care FAQs

What does primary care include?

Primary care includes preventive care, annual visits, routine lab monitoring, medication management, chronic disease management, and evaluation of new or ongoing symptoms.

Do I need primary care if I feel healthy?

Yes. Primary care is not only for illness. It also helps identify risk factors early, keep screenings current, and establish a baseline before problems become more advanced.

Can primary care help manage chronic conditions?

Yes. Primary care commonly includes management of conditions such as hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid concerns, and metabolic health issues.

How is this connected to your other services?

Primary care serves as the central framework for other services such as medical weight loss, hormone therapy, and bone health by helping coordinate treatment decisions within the broader context of overall health.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Bring a current medication list, prior lab results if available, and any relevant records that may help establish a more complete baseline.

How often will I need follow-up visits?

That depends on your health needs. Some patients may need annual preventive visits, while others need more regular follow-up for active conditions or treatment monitoring.
