About Metabolic Center of Oklahoma
Clinically Guided Care, Built for Long-Term Health
Metabolic Center of Oklahoma is a women-owned medical clinic in Edmond, Oklahoma, specializing in medically supervised weight loss, primary care, and bone health. Since its founding in 2013, the practice has focused on delivering structured, evidence-based care designed to support both immediate health concerns and long-term outcomes.
From Bariatric Focus to Comprehensive Care
The clinic was established when Melisa Weaver and Marquis Jeffcoat partnered to provide bariatric services. Over the next several years, the practice grew steadily, with a strong focus on bariatric medicine alongside a family practice.

As patient needs evolved, the clinic adapted early to telehealth delivery - expanding access and improving continuity of care beyond traditional in-office visits.
During this period, the team also recognized the clinical potential of GLP-1 medications and integrated them into treatment protocols. This positioned the practice among early adopters of clinician-led, GLP-1-based medical weight loss models that are now widely used.
Growth and Expanded Services
In 2024, Metabolic Center of Oklahoma relocated to its current office in east Edmond. Since that transition, services have expanded to include:
This expansion reflects a broader commitment to addressing metabolic and age-related health concerns through coordinated, medically supervised treatment.
A Structured, Patient-Focused Team
Today, the clinic operates with a team of:

Care is delivered through a structured, team-based approach that emphasizes consistency, clinical oversight, and individualized treatment planning.
Looking Ahead
Metabolic Center of Oklahoma continues to grow with a clear focus on accessibility and specialization. Future plans include the development of a new office facility at 15th and Kelly in Edmond, along with continued expansion into underserved areas of care.
